Personality: Chris is a happy go lucky, energetic kid who is yet to realize how hard the world really is. He has trouble with keeping quiet and can get on peoples nerves thanks to it. Chris always sees the best in even the worst person so he always tries to help out but will never break the law for anyone. He's very independent and tends to be a loner amongst kids his own age, partially because of his smarts and somewhat due to his immaturity. When the situation calls for it, Chris can be a very calm level headed person who can hold a conversation with someone of any age. His competitive side can get the best of him at times, putting him in bad situations. Although he is extremley smart and somewhat of a perfectionist, his messiness tends to get in the way of him completing things he starts to build or work on. Ever since he was little, he always looked up to the Black Knight and idolized him, always wishing he could work with him.


History: Chris grew up in a mud puddle of a town in Louisiana that no one would ever know existed unless they were born there, He grew up only knowing his father due to his mom dying during his birth. Chris's dad was the town sheriff and imbued Chris with strong morals and the belief that breaking the law was unforgivable. While his dad meant well he was at work most of the time so Chris grew up watching television and reading alot of comicbooks, While he looked up too the work his dad did Chris fell in love with the kind of justice that Superheroes dished out. Overtime comics became more than a way to waste time but more of an obsession, soon Chris had every comic that he could afford from the local comic store and he knew all of them from cover to cover. But this hero he saw on the news the one called "The Black Knight" was the best to him he had no real powers only determination and his inventions. As Chris got older he never grew out of his love for comics and after awhile he tried to create his own gadgets though most just ended up as a junk heap, he had the smarts too see what he wanted to build but lacked the resources and knowledge how to do so. Now on his 15th birthday while his dad was at work he packed his backpack full of his favorite clothes and comics, the 300 hundred dollars he saved up and his skateboard and bought a bus ticket to Chicago where he intends to find the one and only "Black Knight."

Roleplay Sample: Chris laid in his bed the sheets pulled over his face as he pretended to sleep listening to the outside door slam shut and the sound of his father's old car pull away from the house, jumping out of bed he quickly ran to his dresser and threw on a ratty pair of jean shorts and his lucky stained black shirt. Turning too his bed he lifted up the mattress grabbing his small stack of money and slipped it into his back pocket, grabbing a pen and a peice of paper from the desk stuffed in the corner of his small room he quickly wrote out Goodbye Dad I'm Sorry. Rushing out of his room he taped the paper to the fridge making sure his dad would see it and ran onto the pack porch where he was greeted by a slobbering old hunting dog "Take good care of the old man." He said with a heavy heart petting his dog/best friend one last time. A quick feeling of sadness rushed over him but he shook this off knowing that what he was doing was the right thing. Jumping on his skateboard he took a look at his house as he skated away down the old dirt road towards the bus depot.

Nice application. You're fairly weak compared to the average superhero around here, but once ya' meet The Black Knight that will change. I do think you should be lighter then 145 lbs, because of your age and appearance. Other then that good job . Nice personality, and a decent History/RP sample. One thing you should do though, even if they are pretty crappy, give yourself like 1-2 gadgets. Doesn't matter even if its the simplest of things, it will catch BK's attention.
