Born on July 22nd, Connor Rose Claret was the second son of James and Magdeline Claret, their first born being Johnathan Claret who was born five years
prior. Their father, James, was the lead scientist/engineer and Co-owner of a company known as Futuretek. Partnered with a man named Alexander Barret,
James started the company in order to develop cost effective technologies to solve world issues across the globe. Their work encompassed all fields of science
from quatum computer technology to Advanced biology.

Magdeline Claret, John and Connors mother, was a talented violinist who traveled a lot to New York to perform on Broadway. She often brought the two boys with her
since their father was always busy 'trying to save the world' as she put it. Magdeline meet James early in her career when she was playing violin at one of New Yorks
best resturants where the rich wined and dined. A drunken spoiled man insisted she could be bought by money like a hooker but James came to the rescue disgusted by the
mans behavior. After that the rest is cliche history, James and Magdeline dated for a year before getting married. James proposed after her first big performance on broadway,
making it the best day in either of their lives.

The Claret family was one of the most prominent family figures in the city. They invested a fortune back into the city and inspired other wealthy families to do the same. Over
the early years of Connors life Reading went from the average city to a utopia of hope for the future. The inspiration set by the example of the wealthy in this city brought the
attention of outside wealth to come in and also assist in creating the perfect city. The police were equip with the latest in crime fighting technology, old building were renovated
and Reading quickly became the city with the lowest crime rate in America.

Johnathan could have grown up to be what ever he wanted but when he was eighteen he joined the police academy and became an officer of the law. He felt an overwhelming need to prove
that like his parents, he to wanted to dedicate his life to making Reading into one of the safest cities ever. He was a model officer, working his way up the rank quickly and eventually
became a detective. Despite being busy keeping the city clean, Johnathan always found time to be Connors older brother. There were many articles written about the families who helped
build reading into the model city it had become and because of his high merits Johnathan earned his own recognition. A year prior to the day known as 'The black out' Johnathan Married
his high school sweet heart, Sarah Barker who worked at one of Reading most delicious bakeries.

All dreams come to an end though, and even with all the good being poured into the city there was still evil lurking around the corner. The city was a blank canvas for corruption and crime
to invade. All evil needed was to eliminate that which funded the cities prosperity, the wealthy families that resided inside the city limits and the people who fought for peace, justice, and
the true American way of life. Evil took the form of a group of crime lords who later would be known as the Four Horseman, code named as First, Second, Third and Fourth. The horseman were
impatient, and devised a plan to assassinate everybody, including the Claret family. This was what would become known as 'The Black out'. The day the city fell.

The night of the black out there was a fundraiser being thrown by James Claret and his partner Alexander Barret. Magdeline, Maggy for short, volunteered along with a few more musicians from
the orchestra to be the entertainment for the night. They were raising funds for a new wing of the hospital to be built. It was a late night event, expenses all paid by Futuretek profits.
Johnathan was working late that night, rumor on the streets were saying something big was going down and he had been working on the case for weeks but wasn't able to turn up any real leads.
With time running out, the best he could do was rally a group of Readings finest and wait for whatever it was that was going to happen to happen. Connor was hanging out with Johnathans wife,
Sarah, back at their parents house. The clock struck 10 o'clock and suddenly the power went out city wide.

At the fundraiser, the emergency generator kicked on and people were starting to panic a little but then Maggy started playing her violin again bringing a calming atmosphere back to the room.
As she played people where whispering their ideas and theories as to what might have happens and just as James was about to speak up and tell everyone to just continue enjoying their evening a
shot rang out which echoed through not only the halls but the hearts of everybody in the room. The violin had stopped, James looked up to his wife to see what had just happened only to find the
tears rolling down her cheek. Shortly after that first glimpse Maggys' body fell to the ground limp. "Magedeline!" James called out just before a second shot was fired, piercing him through his
chest where his heart had been before the bullet decimated it. People ran for the doors screaming trying to escape but they were locked. As people crushed each other trying to escape, several
bombs were dropped into the crowd and exploded killing everybody in the crowd.

Meanwhile, Johnathan and the finest had split up to investigate the different power stations to see what was happening. Some how their radios were being jammed with severe interference and they
were unaware of what just happened at the Fundraiser. Police and firemen rushed to the scene to put out the fires and search for survivors as the building burned to the ground. Among the survivors
was Alexander Barret, who had been in the kitchen when the power went out and the murders took place. Each of the teams arrived at the power stations at different times, and they each found a large
group of men waiting for them. Readings finest were gunned down but not without taking a few down with them. Through sheer determination and the sacrafice of his partner, Johnathan managed to survive
and get the power back on at his station but it wasn't long before he realized the others had failed.

Johnathan interrogated one of the men, and was able to get the confession on what was happening. He immediatly called home to Connor and Sarah whose power had just turned on and they were now watching
the news coverage on the explosion at the Fundraiser. John could only fear the worse had happened to his parents and knew that his little brother would be devastated by what had just happened. But
John knew the name of who was behind all this, and he was going to make them pay no matter what the cost. That was until one of the radios the men he killed was carrying started talking to him.

"I'm impressed you managed to kill all my men Mr. Claret but I am afraid I can't allow you to go around telling people who did this. Which is why i want you to meet me at the old steel mill.
If you fail to show up, your wife and little brother die."

The radio went silent, and John quickly tried calling home again but there was no answer. John had no choice but to listen to the man. He went alone to the old steel mill where he found Connor
and Sarah tied up. He pleaded for them to be released but that was not in the horsemans' plan. Two armed thugs followed by none other than Alexander Barret, now known as Fourth. John knew there
was no chance they would be set free so he drew first firing off three shots. The two armed men were killed but the third bullet seemed to miss Alex as he pulled out a .45 and fired on John.
The detective went down, and Fourth approaching him, kicking Johns' firearm off to the side and laughing. "Close but you missed me."

Suddenly Fourth was shot from behind, bullets spraying him in the back and sending him to the ground. The third shot John had fired freed Connor, who took a gun from one of the dead henchman
and mustered the courage to kill fourth, Alexander Barret. Connor ran over to John and tried to apply pressure to the wound to keep him from bleeding out but the shot was fatal. After a few
final words John passed away, leaving Connor there with his hands soaked red in the blood of his brother. Connor freed Sarah who was able to call for the police.

The years following the death of his family Reading fell apart as it failed to recover. The people were instilled with fear, and the people who once stood up for good were either dead or
had stopped caring in the interest of keeping alive. Unbeknownst to the people there were still three other horseman lurking in the shadows slowly rotting the city from the inside out for
profit and power. Men and women who stood for good were replaced by corrupt politicians and Reading turned completely around.

Connor had inherited a fortune and would one day become the owner of Futuretek but before that he would have to complete high school and then college. The last remaining Claret was filled
with anger and hate. He had nowhere to channel his rage so his legal guardian, William Kurtz, allowed him to start participating in Mixed martial arts figuring with the decline the city was
heading in it would be good for Connor to know how to defend himself. However, William had no idea how far Connor would go with his training. In secret, along with studying business, Connor
studied forensics science, criminal psychology, military tactics and his fathers own research on break threw technologies. When Connor graduated with his bachelors he decided to take a break
to figure out what he wanted to do with the rest of his life. He debated joining the police like his brother and allowing the share holders to run the company but he felt the police were
limited by the law to what they were and weren't able to do. Running his fathers company and trying to spike a new golden age of Reading passed his mind as well but the chances of another
'Black out' occurring in his own future still existed. Then there was the burning rage and desire for revenge that still ate at his core.

Watching the news, Connor caught many glimpse of 'heroes' around the world saving the day and putting criminals behind bars. He couldn't help but wonder, why didn't Reading have a hero and if
it did could have that hero prevented the 'Black out'. Connor studied the clues his brother had found and under disguise he ran up some leads that John couldn't because of limitations put
on him as a detective. If John had acted as a vigilante instead of a police detective he might have discovered the plot and put a stop to it. This settled it for Connor, he bring about the
Golden age of Reading but he swore to protect it with his life no matter the cost.

Connor told William, who was one of Futureteks lead scientists, of his plans to save the city. He was opposed at first but when Connor presented the proof John would have needed to stop the
Black out William reluctantly agreed to aid him mostly because he knew he wouldn't be able to stop Connor and he would never dream of turning him in. The two created a secret head quarters
within the old abandoned subway and amassed an arsenal of gadgets. Since the night of the 'Black out' Connor had a reoccuring dream that brought him back to that night. Each time, he was
powerless to stop anything and it ended with his hands covered in johns' blood. He decided that from hence forth his code name would be Red and that he would act as the vengeful spirit
of those who died that night.

For a year Connor with Williams aid fought crime and hunted after the remaining three horseman. From petty drugs dealers to major crimes bosses, Red single handly reduced crime and when he
got ownership of the company he reconstructed it from the ground up to become the Claret Research and Development Institute which hired brilliant minded students from around the world to
work for them and finish his fathers work. Reading was far from its former glory but its decent into darkness had ended and it had begun climbing back into the light. This came at a great
cost. Connor was beaten and beaten, and despite his best efforts his body was starting to fail him. He knew the risk of death was always there but slowly become disabled was unexceptable.

William introduced Connor to an experimental medical treatment which would mutate his DNA and give his body the ability to regenerate back to 100%. The only problem was that the success
rate of such a treatment was 10% and nothing had ever survived the treatment. It was either do this, or fight until his body gave out on him. Connor knew if he died the chances of
Reading falling back into the darkness were high and the company would collapse without him in its delicate reconstruction stage. Connor agreed, knowing full well that he needed to be
more than just a man to complete his mission. The treatment was grueling, and nearly killed Connor but he managed to survive and resurfaced as a metahuman. He had now gained the ability
to heal from injuries at accelerated rates and heal up to 100%.

The only side effects were good, his mind was sharper, body stronger, and will to fight rejuvenated. With Reading slowly becoming self sustaining it was time for Connor to expanded the
institute beyond Readings city limits. Now that Connor was reborn it was time for Red to be reborn as well. Breaking out his fathers research, Connor found the Digi Theory which proposed
that inanimate objects could be digitalized into data, stored, and then brought out anywhere around the world. The research was solid but the amount of power required was vastly inefficent.
That was until Connor learned about magic, and once he obtained sufficient proof of its existence he started a world wide search for a magical power source rather than a scientific one.

After months of research Connor was able to pin point the location of Chaotic Shards which legend said contained pieces to a powerful demon known as Runeth. Connor collected these shards
and found a way to utilize the latent power inside to construct a device that could digitalize inanimate objects.It was safe as long as he never combined the pieces together into one. With
such a power personal power source Connor could upgrade his entire suit and finish another one of his fathers designs, an artificial intelligence known as AIVAS that could be his eyes on
the network to do what ever on the spot research he needed done while out on missions.

Along the way Connor recruited two other members to join him in his fight, Noah Barnes aka blue and Nicole Landall aka Violet. Together they make a formidable team against crime and evil alike.

Connor and his team took on every injustice they could. Whether it be magical samurai vampires or super villians. However, they finally met their match when they decided to start looking into a top secret organization bent on creating an effective way to mass produce Metahumans. The organization discovered Connors identity, leaked it over the internet and made him as well as everybody he cared about targets to everyone he had ever crossed swords against. This lead to a powerful metahuman assassin, who could control electricity, attacking him in his own building. The battle was one sided, they were completely caught off guard and his allies Violet and Blue died trying to save each other. Out of mercy the assassin spared Connors life, and left him. With everything taken from him Connor left the states broken and thirsty for revenge. He knew he needed to become strong, so you sought out help from around the world until finally coming across a small team of assassins who took him in.

They broke Connor so they could retrain him and make him one of their own. Little did they know he was simply using them because once he passed initiation he would be given augmentations. After months of retraining and attempting to 'program' Connor into a killer they decided to apply the augmentations. It would increase his physical abilities beyond normal human capabilities. The process was painful, and most people didn't survive but connor had the advantage of his healing factor. Once he emerged, he executed his escape plan and defected from the assassin group.

A price on his head and a thirst for vengeance, Connor now searches around the world following information on trying to find those responsible for destroying his life.
