Raine pushed away and her eyes widened in shock. She should have known the man was no good. He was suspicious, and far too friendly. Why hadn't I realized this earlier? Raine thought, and mentally chastised herself. She stumbled through her command of the English language, trying to form comprehensible sentences, but her attempt were poor, and she failed miserably.
