Personality: Thelonious has an awkward sense of morals. There are very few things that he won’t do for his own gain. Most of the time, he likes to cause as little casualties as possible to innocents, but as much as possible to those he believe are guilty. When just out in the street and walking about, he often tries to save anyone in trouble, but he doesn’t care when he has a job. He also has no remorse for things that he has done unless they are extremely bad, like causing a species to go extinct. Thelonious loves to study and is very confident in his fighting abilities/powers. He loves money and riches, but due to a disorder, he loves food even more due to a disorder.


History: Thelonious Goodrich was born to a wealthy family, but had an eating disorder. His parents were disappointed about it, but they never made public note of it. Thelonious spent most of his time watching movies and TV when he was young before he went to school. He was too big to fall into the action type, like he would like too, so he decided he would grow up to be the smart, geeky type.

When school started, he was already smarter than everyone else, almost a teacher’s pet. This and the fact that he was fat, made him he center of teasing. He couldn’t do anything about it but just take it. He built up an iron will, one that was hard to break and ignored insults.

When Thelonious got older, he was interested in History and Science. He loved stories about one man doing the impossible and science fascinated him with its infinite possibilities. Those were the topics he studied the most, the ones he did the best in school, although he did best in every subject. This caused the attention of another young, evil genius and he wanted to make sure Thelonious was dealt with. He made a special virus that was very hard to fight off and infected Thelonious with it.

He spent a long time in the hospital, and doctors had almost no idea how to cure him. Thelonious’s parents spent almost all their money working on a cure and became to the point where they were badly poor. The doctors had said the virus could’ve been cured easier, had Thelonious been in shape. Having been the cause of his parents financial downfall, he decided to get in shape and quit school. He spent years training and studying with his iron will.

He was still big, but most of his fat has been converted into muscle, giving him extraordinary strength and durability. He had studied many fighting styles slightly, and also was a genius inventor. He still needed to get his parents their riches back, so he secretly became a mercenary taking many jobs. He made a fortune and most of it had went back to his parents although he kept most for himself.

One job had him find a mystical gold that would later be the staple of his powers, When he went back to return it to his employer, his employer revealed himself to be the one who had once infected him, and tried to kill him afterwards. Thelonious survived and kept the mystic gold to give to his parents, thinking it had much value although his employer escaped. When he returned home, he saw his employer at his very house, murdering his parents. Thelonious, in a time of rage, somehow activated the magic in the gold and it embedded itself onto his chest, giving him ferrokinetic powers. He killed his employer and took his money.

Thelonious, in love with the mercenary life, didn’t give it up. But there are still times when he remembers his innocence. He believes that he walks the line between good and evil. He still tries to be one of those people doing impossible things, and going down in history books.


Powers: Thelonious wears a magical gold on his chest that gives him the power to weakly manipulate metal. He can levitate up to 1000 lbs.; his power is more on levitating metals then it is shaping them although he can have metals that he wears on his body change shape to cover the areas on his body. Usually, he can only make basic shapes with metals like cubes, plates, blades, spheres etc. and something complex like keys would take a lot of concentration. Thelonious can also weaken or strengthen metals slightly, which is what allows him to break through much stronger metals. He can liquefy metals, but only for a short amount of time. When he uses his powers, the metals he manipulates get a golden hue.
