The diamond sword of Gen Damacles

Name: Die Klinge von GEN Damacles (the sword of Gen Damacles)
Abilities: The blade can cut through almost anything. It is rumoured the power of the sword is tied into the heart of the wielder. If the wielder feels confident in his abilities then the sword gets stronger. If the wielder is plagued with self doubt it gets weaker.
Description: A beautiful sword, one of the twelve houses of Gaias special treasures and the first one given to an outsider (David Daark) The sword is named after the founder of the house of Diamond, the great swordsman Gen Damacles. It was created from the first ever chunk of Diamond found on Mariglenn. The sword itself has a pale green blade which has the following carved into it.
THE POWER OF THIS SWORD IS IN THE HEART
BE FULL OF CHEER AND YOU SHALL BE UNSTOPPABLE.
BE DOWNHEARTED AND YOU SHALL BE DESTROYED.
The handle is set with a beautiful onyx, the last remnant of his long dead girlfriend

Even if the limits haven't truely been discovered you do need to explain exactly what this sword does before it can be approved.

Actually this sword comes from the Daark chronicles a novel I wrote about ten years ago its also where David and pretty much his entire world comes from. If it is similar to something that exists it really is unintentional.

The Alan moore era is wonderful, The new stuff is not too bad. I used to read excalibur alot =)
