Dr. Lyra Cedar's most polarizing trait, is that she's a complete and total egotist. She views herself as the best thing to ever grace the Earth with her presence, and that she has every right to rule the entire world. Very childish and selfish, she has total megalomaniacal tendencies with delusions of grandeur, and a massive arrogance problem on top of that. Narcissistic to ridiculous levels, her egotistical and arrogant nature is often times the reason as to why her plots for world domination are foiled, more so than when people attempt to get in her way.
