Storm Bringer (Social thread)

Jeisen sat in the chair of the mobile air base command center, staring at the black device in his hands. His dark green cloak hung over his shoulders on his newly repair armor, fresh from the fight with Entei. It was still blaring not only on the London news, but also on that of a few new stations around the world. He could hear the T.V. reporters mewling over every little action from that fight but getting now where near close to what had actually happened. "A Demon" was not the description Jeisen would have chosen for his best friend. And right now, he was about to do the second hardest thing he has had to do in a very long time. Jeisen had to let Uzma know her fiancee was.... captured. He hit the button on the device, sending out an Alpha alert to Uzma. It was the highest non life threatening alert that the Guardians had. It was meant for when someone needed to share critical information with someone else that couldn't be trusted to electronic means. It would let her know he needed to talk and where he was. She could use her own teleporter to get to the base. Nolan floated down next to Jeisen

Nolan: "So... how are you going to break it to her?"

Jeisen: "Its not like he is dead... and she's a hero. She knows we what we can sacrifice.... what we may have to sacrifice."

Nolan: ".... sir..."

With that, the little bot floated on backwards to the other rooms. Jeisen need to be alone right now till Uzma arrived. He hated this part. Dark clouds always seemed to follow as Jeisen brought bad news.

The sound of the teleporter warming up and firing was all the warning Jeisen needed to understand Uzma had gotten his message. According to the transponder, she had been in London right before, only making matters worse. She would have seen the destructive aftermath. The video being released to the public on the news, was not a pretty picture for anyone let alone her. It had been a brutal fight to say the least. When she stepped into the doorway of the room, Jeisen looked up from the ground, arms resting on his knees. The blue optics of his helm shone brightly underneath his hood as he struggled to bring him self to say it. After a second, in a quiet voice

Jeisen: "Yes.... It was him."

She needed to her the truth. IT would only make matters worse if he had lied despite the pain that this would cause. He broke eye contact again as he stared down at the ground.

Jeisen: "But, I think there is something else behind this. Someone else. I've had an... encounter, with a group of human agents of some organization that were actively trying to capture metahumans. I helped them escape, but thats how they learned of me. Entei wasn't exactly a master of covering his trail from his hero work to his normal life. If they learned about him they could have set up a trap for him then captured him. Through out the fight... he was strange. Kept apologizing as he tried to kill me. Or at least capture me, it was hard to tell. Everything about him was just.... off. He arrived in a pod launched from a seemingly similar flying warship as in my earlier fight, least I think so. Its hard to tell cause I can't fucking detect it with any scanner what so ever. The pod itself was unusal tech from my brief scans and I cant find it in any directory for the company he works for so.... its not his tech. Then he had some strange tech around his neck, but I wasn't able to get that good of a look at it. All in all though.... I know he is not doing this willingly, though I don't know how he is being forced to do this. The only thing I couold think of would you being held hostage, but..."

She was right here, that option was off the table. Jeisen just sighed as his last plausible thought for entei's actions had just been squashed. Now he was going to have to consider even more drastic measures of how Entei is being forced to fight.

Jeisen just sat there, head hanging low as he Sayers into the floor. He felt so helpless by just letting Uzma cry like that, but even he knew this was not something he could fix with a few words. And right now, he couldn't think of any words to say tht might comfort her anyways. He simply gritted his teeth, tensing up. He looked up though when he heard the sounds of someone typing away on one of the computers. He stood up and walked over to Uzma, staring oer her shoulder. After a second he understood what she was doing.

Jeisen: "every time I've engaged these guys, it's been after they have shown up. I have no idea where they are coming from other then the fact that they at least have a presence in London. They might be watching that areas for signs of me or just watching it in general because of it's prominence. We might have to draw then out first."

He crossed his arms as he began to think about the possible plans to start this. He needed mire info first though.

Jeisen: "who do we need to contact?"
