A Newb Looking for Partners

Hello, Quix here. I’m just about a year old on the world of RP, and I’ve never wrote any superheroes or villains (the tragedy!). I’m not sure where to start, and I’d be eternally grateful for a few simple threads to begin with, with a few patient partners.
My character is Arlandria Vega (Prism), a young and hopeful genetically-engineered hero. Like the American Romantic hero, Arlandria is naive, optimistic, selfless, and acts on her own code of morals. She possesses the powers of light manipulation and was raised believing she would be a hero, nothing else.
I would love the opportunity to plot with you lovely folks, though my superpower-virgin mind is still soaking up the lore. Thanks.

I play Kubi Tsuru, giant of a man who controls a power known as Kuma Chikari. Basically he can punch you hard in the face or in the soul.
I also play Katrina Kawada, a super assassin with four alter ego's, one of which is set to be the next Prime Minister of England.
And finally I play Elaine Sayomi, the earthly incarnation of Willpower, Honor, and Justice. She's also a slutty drunk.
I'm open to do anything with all of them!
