The Return of an Unlikely Symbiote Empty The Return of an Unlikely Symbiote

Post by Guest November 6th 2009, 11:07 pm

"You know, people have called me a lot of things. Monster, creature, psychopath, woman-beater and even traitor. Heh, funny thing is that their all right. I am all of those things or more like, I used to be those things. Heh, it's strange how someone as unpredictable and crazy as me could finally wish for a peaceful life. No more screams of terror, no more killing, no more explosions. It is what a symbiote would refer to as hell" a certain crazy symbiote mumbled to himself as he looked down at the streets of Chicago. Chaos somehow managed to look older, dark gray spots appearing on his slimy, red skin. Obviously those spots were a sign that showed that Chaos was growing old.

The Return of an Unlikely Symbiote Empty Re: The Return of an Unlikely Symbiote

Post by The Black Knight November 6th 2009, 11:39 pm

Wilbert found himself in a usual perch, crouched like a frog next to a gargoyle statue, the two of them perfectly still side by side watching over the city. His black figure hidden by the shadows of the night, only his glowing white eyes were visible. Something came into his view, an odd looking crimson creature swinging on an odd web-like wire, it landed on a building not to far from him, staring down into the city with it's monstrous eyes, it surely did not seem like he was here just for the view.

With his mask, he got an enhanced view of the Symbiote, using his scope and scanners to view him up close at a far distance with out being revealed. He scanned him and added his data to his database, another super powered humanoid added to the list, every one with super powers he met would go on this list, whether they were friend or foe. He would add notes and details about him later, as he discovered more about him, but for now all he had was his image. He just needed to collect a sample of that goo on him, to find out exactly what that creature is...

He continued to watch him from a distance, waiting in the shadows for the creature to do something, and his gut said something bad was going to happen.

The Return of an Unlikely Symbiote Empty Re: The Return of an Unlikely Symbiote

Post by Guest November 6th 2009, 11:42 pm

Suddenly, an explosion happened from the ground below the building Chaos was standing on. Chaos blinked in surprise and looked over the edge of the building to see crooks getting away with bags of expensive jewelry. Chaos sighed to himself and shook his head. He jumped down to the streets and wrapped his tentacles around the escaping van. He then used his strength to pull the van back. "Why are crooks always so stupid? Don't the idiots ever learn that they're ALWAYS GONNA GET CAUGHT!" Chaos complained with a rather unsavory scowl on his face.

The Return of an Unlikely Symbiote Empty Re: The Return of an Unlikely Symbiote

Wilbert's head instantly turned in the direction of the explosion, his eyes narrowing down at the thugs who were piling into the van with their loot. His scanners scanning all of them, getting their images and sending them to the local authorities, letting them know these men would be joining them soon. "...Only I can steal and get away with it..." He said with a grin beneath his mask, leaping from his frog stance off the edge of the building and quickly free falling towards the van.

He tumbled through the air with grace and skill, gripping his grapnel device from his utility belt and shooting it into a nearby skyscraper, the device clinging to the building with out causing any damage, due to it's advanced technology. He then swung for the wire like a true professional, swinging down towards the path of the van, intending to kick straight through the windshield. He gripped the wire in both hands, his eyes narrowing at the creature who was holding the van back, unsure of what his intentions were, he simply put a stop to his attack. With his left hand he released the wire and grabbed a few small explosives from his utility belt, throwing them down at the creatures tentacles, being careful not to hit the van and to sever his grip on it.

Only a second or so later he swung both legs into the windshield at that intense velocity, utterly smashing it and sending the vehicle spiraling out of control, all of the thieves were struck with fear, the sight of the Shadow Knight made most too scared to even move, especially after pulling a stunt like that! Once he kicked his way in, he pressed the button on his device which caused the wire and the grapnel to reel back in, he immediately placed it back onto his utility belt while it was still reeling in. He threw both his arms out at his sides, knocking out the passenger and driver, the men in the back of the van finally got over their fear and picked up their guns, firing away at the masked man.

Wilbert smirked at them, keeping his balance though the vehicle was starting to lose control, as the bullets hurled towards him, his advanced reflexes allowed him to duck underneath the swarm of bullets, then roll forward to the back of the van, gripping a pair of large handcuffs in his left hand while doing so. He reached the feet of the thugs and cuffed their ankles together, grabbing onto the chain of the cuffs and yanking on it, pulling their feet out of underneath them and sending them hurling to the ground painfully. The thugs were dealt with, he know rolled backwards towards the front of the vehicle, then jumping into the front seat of the vehicle. He slammed on the brakes and turned the wheel, bringing the vehicle to a screeching halt, smoke coming from the tires.

He smirked from underneath his mask and opens the vans door, since he had already contacted the local authorities, they would be here any second to deal with the thugs, but just in case they tried something funny, he would leave them a present. He gripped a sleeping gas container from his utility belt, tossing it to the back of the van with his right hand, it then went off and began filling the van up with it's smoke. Wilbert left the van and shut the door behind him, leaving the rest to the local authorities. He looked over to the symbiote creature with narrowed eyes, his glowing white eyes the easiest thing to see since his black costume was hidden by the shadows. "Who are you and why are you here?" He said calmly from a distance in his deep dark and raspy, yet poetic voice.

Chaos looked towards the man with narrowed eyes. "My answer depends on who you are and which side you work for. You work as a hero, I can be your friend, your a villain then be prepared to have my Cackle Bomb shoved up a place most uncomfortable" Chaos said with a psychotic grin, some of his old, immature self returning as he rolled his shoulders and neck, making loud cracking sounds.

Merlin was taking a walk. This strange new world was odd for him, and he was out of date after 1,000 years in a rock. He saw a monster and a man fighting. He frowned, they both had pure intentions, although the monster showed scars of evil. "Who are you two?" he asked, in a big, dramatic voice.

The Return of an Unlikely Symbiote Empty Re: The Return of an Unlikely Symbiote

Wilbert didn't like this creatures attitude, but he hadn't exactly done anything wrong, he was just freaky looking and standing there. Wilbert softly shook his head as a second man came walking up, what the hell was this? Who was this new guy, did they know each other, were they trying to have some sort of meeting? Hell no, something he wasn't about to get into, he spoke up in his gruff voice. "I'm not here to make friends." He sprinted forwards towards the symbiote, his movements were unreal and inhuman, this man ran faster than a car at full speed, he was at least running 100 miles per hour.

He ran right past the symbiote, holding out a small and sharp device in his right hand which he used to extract materials with, taking a small sample of the symbiote as he ran past him. He came to a halt several yards behind the symbiote, placing the device in a small pocket on his utility belt. He did all of this actions rather stealthily and quickly, his superior skills and training hopefully paying off, and also the field was to his advantage, it was night. He kept his back facing the symbiote and the newcomer, he no longer cared for staying here, he had done his job and gotten what he wanted. "Leave here now, the police will be coming and I don't need them panicking when they see you."

Wilbert bent his knees and jumped high into the air, gripping his grapnel device in his left hand and slinging it forward, pressing the button which released the advanced grapnel which hurled towards a building. The grapnel connected, allowing Wilbert to swing himself from it, gripping onto the wire with both hands and swinging forwards quickly. He used this to slingshot himself high into the air, pressing the button on the device which reeled in the wire and grapnel after doing so. He was now upside down in the air, flying higher and higher into the air to the amount of velocity he was given from that swing. He flipped in the air and landed on a high skyscraper, landing skillfully on both feet having no trouble, exhaustion or pain from doing that at all, he was truly skilled in his craft.

He then turned around, looking off the skyscraper and down to the two men he had left behind, he was practically invisible to them at this distance, his black colors only aiding that, only the most trained eyes would only see his glowing white eyes. He scanned the other man beside the symbiote, just in case he was a super, if not he would be deleted later. Wilbert turned back around after scanning him, running towards the opposite edge of the building and leaping off into the darkness...

Merlin groaned, as his evil side began taking over. "TAKE COVER!' he screamed, as he rose in the air and his eyes turned red. At once, buildings began to fall, and people ran around screaming and avoiding the buildings.

Wilbert stopped himself from jumping off the edge, his head turning back at the loud sound of buildings crashing, he quickly sprinted towards the destruction, running off the edge off the building and diving down towards it. The man who caused it was floating in the sky, it was obviously him, Wilbert could very easily put the pieces together. He front flipped as he came down towards him, coming out of the front flip onto him and attempting to drop a heavy kick onto his foes left shoulder with his left leg.
